Andrew is extremely introverted. He is very good at his job, but he finds it extremely challenging to be social with his colleagues at work. Andrew prefers to eat his lunch quietly by himself, to decompress and have some time to himself. He avoids parties and he hates teamwork exercises.
When Andrew makes the effort to share lunch with the others, he is completely exhausted when he gets home and he lies on the sofa for the rest of the day.
Andrew's boss, Joseph Wilkes, thinks Andrew has an attitude problem. He wants all workers to get along, and he thinks that part of that is to share lunch breaks. He is offended that Andrew does not want to come to parties. He thinks teamwork exercises are essential for creating a good work environment.
