Slumdog Millionaire is a captivating film that follows Jamal Malik, an 18-year-old from the slums of Mumbai. He becomes a contestant on the Indian version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", and despite his lack of formal education, Jamal answers each question correctly.

For Slumdog Millionaire, the filmmakers won a total of 8 Oscars, including awards for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. The film received the same awards at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards.
