Find an example of a news article online. Study it closely before you answer the questions.

Discuss:

Work in a group and discuss the questions.

  1. If an article does not contain the elements mentioned in the box above, can it be regarded as a news article?

  2. What other types of articles can you expect to find in a newspaper or on a news site?

Write:

Write a news article. Choose a story, and write a text that contains all the points from the film. Don't forget to include a relevant photo.

The news article may be about local events; for example a football match, a student council meeting, or something else happening at your school or in your local community.
