Suggested Letter of Application
Norway 23 March 2010
I would like to apply for the position as a trainee advertised on your website. As you can see from my CV, I am a 20 year old Norwegian student and will complete my apprenticeship in electricity and electronics in June 2010.
I am interested in widening my horizon by working abroad. I have good communicative skills and enjoy working with and meeting new people. My previous part-time jobs have been in sales. I have had a lot of experience communicating in English during my apprenticeship since the company I work for has many guest workers from the UK. I also speak some German. I am interested in gaining as much experience as possible in my field of study and would really like to join your firm before I decide whether to continue my education to become an electronics engineer.
I hope you find my qualifications and experience of interest. I may be contacted by telephone or by e-mail for an interview.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
